The 2017 Engine Expo will play host to Ceratizit, a company specializing in the design and development of ‘exceptionally hard’ material products. The company has announced it will showcase a number of its strengthened, rigid, corrosion-resistant injection components that are made from carbide grade metals.
The company, headquartered in Luxembourg, develops and manufactures highly specialized tungsten carbide cutting tools, inserts, rods and wear parts offering premium carbide or ceramic components for injection. The components are designed to be precise, compressive strengthened, rigid and efficient, offering long service life.
The company manufactures products according to customized drawings and needs with the highest level of confidentiality. If needed, special coatings can be added to increase the service life, in addition or corrosion-resistant carbide grades can be used, meeting the exacting quality standards of the automotive sector certified to ISO/TS 16949.
Holding over 600 patents, hard metal solutions from Ceratizit are used in machine and tool manufacturing and many other applications including automotive, aerospace and medical.
