Apex has unveiled its new battery electric supercar. The AP-0 is equipped with a state-of-the-art, lithium-ion battery powertrain, which will develop peak power levels of 659ps and 580Nm of torque.
Thanks to a lightweight, carbon-fiber composite chassis and body and a 550kg 90kWh battery unit, the AP-0 weighs in at 1,200kg. This enables the car to hit 100km/h in 2.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 305km/h.
The AP-0 powertrain was also engineered to offer efficiency and a fast charging time. The battery tech at the heart of the vehicle is capable of delivering enough charge to cover a maximum 515km (WLTP).
The EV is compatible with CCS, Type 2 and GB/T charging connectors, providing practicality and choice. Charging up to 80% is possible in under 15 minutes using the CCS, while the estimated charging time using Type 2 is eight hours.
