Serma Energy, a French specialist in embedded electronics and test systems, and German powertrain testing outfit KST Motorenversuch have announced a cooperation agreement covering battery and hydrogen drivetrain testing.
“We are proud to cooperate with KST which is a well-recognized testing company in Europe. This cooperation offers to the market a unique access to large expertise and testing capabilities on powertrain applications for future mobility,” explained Peter Herssens, CEO of Serma Energy.
Serma will bring its expertise in test and homologation services for batteries (covering cell, module and pack) thanks to five dedicated test benches. KST, meanwhile, operates a hydrogen test facility for fuel cells and hydrogen engines in Bad Dürkheim, Germany, with 12 testbeds.
