A settlement has been agreed between Cummins and JM Turbo Technology after the latter acknowledged it illegally marketed and sold turbochargers protected by Cummins’ patents.
JM Turbo Technology, a manufacturer of aftermarket replacement turbochargers and other engine components, has to stop all manufacturing, importation, exportation, advertising and sales of all infringing products. It will also be forced to destroy all existing inventory of infringing products.
“Cummins is committed to defending our intellectual property as we continue innovating for our customers to power their success,” said Shon Wright, executive director and general manager of Cummins Turbo Technologies.
