Toyota has revealed that the new-generation C-HR will be fitted with a more powerful 185ps 2-liter hybrid powertrain. The new system joins the 121ps 1.8-liter hybrid system to offer a choice of powertrains.
The Japanese OEM has promised NEDC correlated CO2 emission levels starting from 86g/km for the 1.8-liter system and from 92g/km for the 2-liter.
Both variants have also been further upgraded to significantly reduce cabin noise. Dynamic upgrades to the C-HR include modified electric power steering tuning for improved steering feel.
In addition the 2.0-liter hybrid benefits from a new suspension design that improves ride comfort while maintaining handling capabilities.
