The Zircotec project and implementation team were requested by a supercar manufacturer to develop specific colored thermal barrier coatings in line with branding. The coatings had to be thermally stable for applications on tailpipes and bodywork for one of their latest projects that will be released later in the year.
To meet the manufacturer’s demands, Zircotec expanded its development team and put together a testing program. The testing program is carried out in its in-house testing facilities, which allow the engineers to emulate specific environments throughout the testing phases and collect vast amounts of data to share with manufacturers.
