For the 2019 model year, Ford is bringing the higher-output, 450ps Ecoboost V6 that used to be reserved for the Raptor model, to the normal F-150. The ‘Limited’ will combine the Raptor engine with a more luxury-oriented package. It arrives in showrooms later this year.
F-150 customers who desire a lot of power, but can do without the Baja-inspired off-road madness of the Raptor, can now turn to the F-150 Limited, as it comes with the 450ps, 690Nm version of the familiar EcoBoost turbocharged V6, but combines it with a number of luxury features such as new leather options, massage seats and wood trim. The engine breathes through a new dual-exit exhaust system.
