ESTECO and Romax Technologies have announced a technological partnership that will see modeFRONTIER optimization capabilities become available to RomaxDesigner users. They are set to unveil this collaboration at the Romax North America User Forum 2017.
As OEMs continue to look for ways to meet increasingly challenging efficiency targets, it is said the combination of ESTECO’s engineering data intelligence and Romax’s design, simulation and testing solutions means that drivetrain design can be faster and more reliable.
The software integration allows powertrain manufacturers to fully leverage accurate simulation and advanced algorithms to find optimal combinations for maximum efficiency.
This means drivetrain design can be used to ensure better accuracy for a tight control of the system and high-power performance.
Danilo Di Stefano, ESTECO product manager, said, “Moving more and more toward a digital design process helps companies evaluate the impact of changing a large number of design parameters on performance targets, saving significant amount of time.”
The technology partnership will be further showcased at the ESTECO North America Users’ Meeting 2017 in Detroit, Michigan.
