Audi has announced changes to its International Engine of the Year category-winning 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine in the RS Q3 to unleash more power.
The new range-topping model will be called the RS Q3 Performance, and gains 27ps over the standard RS-spec car thanks to fuel pump modifications and a larger radiator.
Peak power of 367ps and 465Nm carry the SUV from 0-100km/h in 4.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 270km/h (168mph) now that Audi has removed the standard vehicle’s 250km/h (155mph) limiter. Peak torque is available between 1,625 and 5,550rpm.
The RS Q3 Performance is fitted with four-wheel drive and a 7-speed S tronic auto transmission as standard. The car achieves 8.6 l/100km (27.4mpg) on the NEDC and emits 203g/km CO₂.
