Qoros Auto has announced that the forthcoming Guangzhou Auto Show (November 18-27), will see it reveal several new models and innovations. The claimed world-first drivable QamFree engine prototype will be showns alongside its all-new ‘Q•LECTRIQ EV’ concept car.
“Qoros is poised to be a transformational company, embracing the future mobile life,” said Dr. Leon Liu, COO of Qoros Auto. “We’re committed to delivering future-oriented, world-class quality products as well as inspirational customer experience through constant innovation.”
The Qoros prototype with QamFree engine represents a significant technological innovation. Qoros states that the unit revolutionizes the traditional internal-combustion engine (ICE) package thanks to its compact size, which still delivers a ‘high level of efficiency and performance’. Since its debut at the Beijing Auto Show in April earlier this year, the QamFree technology has drawn widespread attention from potential customers. Six months later, the Qoros 3 hatch prototype car equipped with a runnable QamFree engine will undertake vigorous road testing. The innovative engine technology is expected to significantly enhance the performance of the ICE product line-up of Qoros both currently and in the future
Alongside the QamFree prototype, Qoros will also be showcasing its Q•LECTRIQ EV concept that features a 350km driving range and 80% fast charging within one hour. The Q•LECTRIQ EV concept is set to enter production in 2017.
