Swedish company myFC, which has developed a single layer Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell, has released a video explaining the operation of its fuel cell hybrid test mule.
The company’s fuel cells feature a patented open-end design, dubbed LAMINA, which the company says is flexible in shape and form, offering unique packaging opportunities. Since the myFC design also uses a passive air feed which has no conventional bi-polar plate, it is also claimed to provide cost savings over other fuel cell types due to simplified manufacturing.
